Certified IPC specialists MacArtney Norge’s workshop, equipped to the highest industry standards, provides fast turnaround, efficiency and quality workmanship. Our products represent a high level of quality to meet our customers’ demands and ensure that our customers can have every confidence in our products. All technical staff are trained as IPC specialists and hold IPC certification. To ensure that our products and processes conform to the IPC standard and specification IPC/WHMA-A-620, we are continuously audited. The standard covers training in crimp tensions, soldered terminations, connectorization, splices, labelling, coaxial and twinaxial cable assemblies, and solderless wire wrap. Fibre optic workshop and capabilities The workshop holds the capability to produce the full OptoLink range. We manufacture specialist fibre optic assemblies as well as standard industrial fibre cables. Fibre splicing capabilities and on-site terminations are additionally available. Jobs on site Flexibility and efficiency are essential to - among others - reducing non-productive downtime. Our technicians perform jobs on-site on to maintain and repair MacArtney equipment, terminate fibres, conduct fault finding or carry out a range of works as and when needed by the customer. Moulding and cable assembly Utilising two component-moulding machines facilitates a range of colour moulding options in addition to the standard black. All our technicians are thoroughly trained in their areas of expertise including in-house soldering, moulding, steel and Kevlar terminations for stress terminations.
